Why won't my Wii turn on?

Okay, so I just now went to turn my Wii on to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and my Wii would not turn on! It worked this morning! Everything's plugged in, my Wii, my T.V., my Wii's cords are all plugged in. What's wrong! I've only had my Wii for about 4 months, so it's not too old! What the heck is going on?

  1. This happened to me

    unplug wall adapter from wall

    unplug everything from wii

    wait 5 minutes

plug the power into the wii and the wall

you should get a red light

you should be good, turn it on

    --------------------------------------...

If you do not get a red light, repeat the steps but wait longer this time

  2. Well first make sure it is plugged in =P

If it is plugged in, then it could have over heated. So just keep it in a cool room for about 2 or 3 hours and try using it again. If it still doesn't work try getting some help from Nintendo. Heres the link to there support page:

But first i would make sure that your warranty is still active.

  5. Check the back of the Wii to make sure that the fan isn't blocked.

  6. Try a different plug. Check the back of the Wii itself to make sure a cable didn't come out.

If all else fails, call Nintendo. Their customer service helpline is printed on the back of every Nintendo game manual.
