  1. Burton uses a three hole mounting system, while the rest of the snowboarding industry pretty much uses four.  Your Roxy baseplates are probably in only a four hole setup.  Go to any store and ask for a baseplate that will fit your Burton board, and they'll hook you up with them.  Or you could try calling Burton or Roxy, but I doubt either will help much.

  2. Hmm... a little more information might help!  Most boards have the same binding mount pattern. The most notable exception to this standard is Burton who use a three bolt pattern instead of a 4 bolt pattern.  So if your board is Burton and your bindings are not (or vice versa) you may need to buy a replacement mount disc for your bindings.  good luck!

  3. Probably because one of them (board or binding) is using the Burton "3D" 3 hole mounting system (triangle pattern) instead of the standard 4 hole square mounting pattern.

You can't change the board, but most bindings come with different center disks for 3 hole and 4 hole mounting. If you don't have the other center disk, you may be able to get it from the binding maker.

    Good Luck

  4. are the plates three hole, or four?  What type of board do you have?  What type of bindings?
