Why won't my computer recognize my blackberry?

I've always been able to just plug my blackberry into my computer and then open the "removable disk" file, and all the files from the the phone would be there. but now it says "please insert a disk into drive k." help!

Are you sure you're putting your cable to connect your Blackberry on the right drive? Make sure you connect it to whichever drive.  You should check all drives just in case you accidentally inserted it in a different one.

Or maybe your cable is loose.  Make sure it's pushed in the slot completely and then try again.

If all above doesn't work, I suggest calling your phone company and ask them what to do.  Maybe your cable is getting old or maybe your Blackberry can't recognize your computer or vise versa.  Just hope everything turns out okay.  :)
