Why won't my girlfriend ever do what's she's told?

2.  She obviously does not respect your opinion.

3.  What a girlfriend is and how she is to be treated by you may be unclear?

4.  All participants in a relationship are important and equal partners.

5.  It is important to respect oneself and others.

6.  A girlfriend/boyfriend are not a butler or a maid to order on a whim.

Sit down and discuss things with your girlfriend... it just may be  you are both seeing some a tad different and expecting so much more out this relationship.

Maybe she listens all the time, but rejects what she's heard as not relevant or worthy of following. That's her right. Being a boyfriend is not an entitlement to having obedience (for that matter, neither is being a husband). She's always going to have freewill and freedom of choice, as do you. So, change your expectations...you'll be happier, and you'll live longer.

Without more details, can't answer very well. Do you mean why does she not do what you tell her to do? I can answer that easily... She doesn't have to. She has a mind of her own and you can ask her to do things and if she does not do them, it isn't because she isn't obeying you, it is because she does not have to obey you.

If you mean she does not do what her parents tell her to, well that is an issue you don't need to interfere in.

If you mean she does not do what ANYONE tells her to do, sounds like a strong minded young lady that doesn't pay heed to people's demands on her.
