Why won't my hair stay straight....?

So i straighten my hair everday, or every other, since i don't get up early enough some days

But the very front pieces of my hair, about an inch of it, won't stay straight

And it doesn't take long for it to curl and frizz again.

I'll straighten my hair, go grab something, come back in and it won't be straight anymore....

Could it be because i have some split ends, but then again its not just then ends of my hair, its the whole peice

And i was thinking of trying some straightening gel, but i'm afraid it'll make my hair way to greasy, like it normally does :/

  1. It could be because of your split ends making those pieces of hair dryer than the rest of your hair? You never know.

Have you tried flexible hold hairspray? Garnier makes a good one it doesn't even feel like you are wearing hairspray but it holds pretty well and adds shine (I believe it is called Shine).

If you'd rather not use hairspray, try Tresseme Straightening gel only on that area. I don't find that it makes my hair greasy or oily.

    Best of luck! ♥

  2. split ends and knots

  3. split ends cause knots, so that may be the reason.

straightening gel should not look greasy, depending on

what type you use. Try the BedHead brand. use hairspray

if you're still worried about the grease.
