Why won't my hot tub heater work? should it be set on f2 f4 f6 f8 fc? ?

  1. F followed by any number of course refers t the filter cycle.  Your heater should run no matter what cycle it is in.  The heater has to have flow of water to run of course.  So it is either a faulty pressure switch or "Flow switch"(most likely).  If not that then you need to test the resistence of the heater (7.2-14.1) depending on if it's a 4kw to 5.5kw heater.  If that is ok I hate to tell you it is your circuit board.

    It would be nice to know what brand and model of tub you have.
