Why won't my ipod connect to itunes?

Ok so my USB cable is in perfect condition and so is my ipod they have never fallen or anything. My USB cable does work because I have this charger that I use that requires the USB and it works. When I turn on my computer it says that the system battery voltage is low. Could that be the problem? I

  1. ok...i had the same problem just now..connect it to your ipod to ur usb and restart it while its still connected...and hopefully it will detect it.


  2. Try another USB port..

    Might wanna check it it works with any other computer.
