Just got my replacement HTC touch dual phone and i am trying to sync it with my laptop, which is partly successful. It will sychronise my tasks, calender info but will not sychronise my contact list! arrrgghh! The settings on the laptop are set to include contacts but nothing appears in my contacts list on my phone after sycronising. when i select the items to sync on my laptop it gives me a chance to change the settings for each item but will not let me change or look at the contacts settings! Any help would be good!

  1. If its not the most recent version of outlook and your using Windows Mobile 6.0, then you may face a few problems. I would start by upgrading your OUtlook to the more recent version and then going from there.

  2. if u r using vista on ur laptop  thats probably why its not working.

windows vista tends to f things up well it does for me.

  3. what software (ie. outlook) are you using to sync contacts??
