Why won't my macs connect to our home network based on a PC?

I have the WEP codes and have entered them in. The wireless network is active and the macs are showing that they find the network and that it is at full strength. But for no apparent reason, they cannot connect to the internet. Any ideas?

  1. Operating systems are not compatible. Just because you have an active wireless network doesn't mean that the Mac can "talk" to the Internet through the PC's. If you are going to use 2 different types of computer, you need a server that can talk to either type of computer. It can be done, and is done on a regular basis, you just need to make the needed configuration to do it.
