Why won't my memory stick work?

When I put a sand-disk memory stick in my sony cybershot camera it says that theres a problem with the memory stick!!! I need advice and fast cuz this sux! PLEASE! \('o')/

just put it into the computer and format it

I would try reformatting it. If you have pictures or data in it save it on your computer first. After you do that click on the following:start menu, computer,then right click on the sandisk and click format, then click restore device defaults and click start. This should fix it. If you do have data on it it would delete everything on it though. So its best that you save your data on your computer before formatting.
