In 53 years she's never voted for a republican but this year she is. She even voted for Mondale in '84. She called Obama a cute kid with great speech giving skills and thats it.

  1. she is a very smart woman

  2. why don't you ask her?

  3. because she is very smart and knows what it best for this country.

  4. It's like most people- Obama is an unknown quality. A senator that has not even completed his first term. He sounds too good to be true- usually when that is the case, that is the case! But I sincerely hope that if he is elected, he will be the real thing and not a sham. Your mother- in - law is just being cautious.

  5. who cares?  she can vote for whomever she wants

  6. She's a wise lady.  Sometimes, when your party has nothing to offer, you have to do the intelligent thing and do what you believe is best for the country.  In this case, the best thing to do is vote McCain.

  7. I think that your mother-in-law is a very wise lady. She has seen thought his devotion to  the the Israelis and little or no sympathy for the people of Palestine. Have a look at this link which will answer your question better than I can

  8. Common sense.

  9. Because she has a right to vote for who ever she wants too. Just like lots of people are going to vote for Obama who voted for Bush. They saw the mess he made of the world, they don't think McCain can fix it. I don't know if any of them can to be honest, I just wish someone would be able to and soon. The world is suffering now and needs something to happen good.

  10. maybe b/c she's racist.

  11. all in all its her choice and you have to respect that. yeah it sucks because you cant help to wonder but what can you do?

  12. at heart she is still KK
