Why won't my mpg go down???

I need help.I have a new Acura tsx 2008 and the mpg won't go down it says the city is 20 and in highway is 32 but its 33 right now my mpg is 30 why won't it go down when i'm in citys?Please help

You probably have the trip computer set to Average MPG. Reset it when you go into a city and it will read lower.
