  1. You apparently aren't rotating your ankle correctly.  Follow these steps and you will amaze yourself and ALL OF  YOUR FRIENDS!  This 14 SEC.VIDEO shows the proper movements to tie your shoes!

  2. Your shoelaces may be made of slippery material or you are tying them wrong. Double tying works well. Try Ian's fun shoelace site.

  3. It's probably the combination of various conspiring factors, some of the possibilities are as follows:

    1) You haven't tried tying them.

    2) Your mother dropped you on your head when you were young

    3) Your father dropped you on your head when you were a kid...several times... intentionally at times

  4. Tie them harder or try tying them 3 times around ur shoe.

  6. Get flat laces, not round ones and double-knot them if need be.  Round laces do not stayed tied!

  7. Try double knotting the bow.

  9. If you've got leather laces, try putting a little Elmer's glue on them.  Works.
