Question:

Why won't projectors work?

I have been annoyed with the small size of my tv. I only use it to play dvds. I wanted to buy a big one, but they are thousands of dollars. Then I thought....what about a projector? I have the space for it and it could just project right on my wall. I would have it dark anyway. This sounded like it'd work, but I don't know anyone who does that. So....they must not work well. So that got me wondering....why? You could make it as big as a $5,000 tv and save a lot. Right? Am I missing something?

  1. Here's the current best bang for the buck [under $300] front DLP projector from amazon.com:

    http://www.amazon.com/Infocus-Screen-Pla...

Again, the older Infocus SP4805 is still the standard for 480 DVDs, games and HD video/tv viewing and generates a 96" diagonal image on a wall.

    Good luck!
