Question:

Why won't the Ravens sign Daunte Culpepper?

Kyle Boller has proven himself, year after year to be a no talent punk.

Troy Smith definatley lacks the abiltiy, size and intelligence to become a starting qb in the NFL (although he is a decent backup) and

Joe Flacco had performed the best of the 3 this preseason, but they are seemingly committed to not playing him until later in the season, regardless of the fact that there is no Veteran QB to tutor him.

Daunte Culpepper is waiting for a call from a team that will let him start, and has proven that, unlike Boller and Smith, that he is at least mentally capable of running an NFL offense. Is the Raven's staff and front office basically conceding that this season is already a complete disaster?

Note: Thanks to Bills fans for warning us that McGahee is a lazy thug. Sorry for not listening,..

  1. Cause Troys da man go buckeyes.

  2. dude...do you really want to waist money on this guy who is probably going to get hurt after 3 weeks anyway?..i hear where you are coming from and you make great points but this guy has not been able to stay healthy for the last 5 years...it would be a waist in my opinion

  3. The Ravens don't need another bad QB

  4. Went to the Steelers camp and basically wanted to much money and they passed on him. He could have been second string more them likely, a pretty good deal if you are old and wanting to finish a career. Look for someone to grab him mid-season as a emergency fill in after a key QB goes down.

  5. the Packers were interested in signing him for a while too, but he wants too much money.  we have a great QB in Rodgers, but we have no depth behind him. so we are essentially screwed if Rodgers is injured.  i kind of feel your pain.

  6. Dude!  Culpepper is done! Serously!  why do you think not a single team is willing to sign him???  Did you see him play for the Dolphins??  Raiders???  for God's sake, he lost the starting job to Harrington while in Miami, That alone says a lot. The Culpepper that used to play for the Vikings is long gone. I'll say stick to Flaco. hopefully he'll develp quick enough to save the season.

  7. the proof is wide open...dante is too old and has knee problems no matter how fine he says his knee feels....he has shown that he struggles with the speed of the game and the ravens do not need someone that hasn't proved himself to be a vital addition this close to the start of the season
