Why won't the camera detect the memory card?

Last week I bpught a new multi-functional JNC camera then when I tranfer it in my pc it said please format this drive. So I did, and all infos was gone....I then when I made folders and transfered some files (the original files; mkr something like that) and transfer it again back to the camera it won't read it? Why is that? Help me please
