I'm an Aussie and know a few kiwis.  They have taken the AB's loss just as well as we took ours.  We smile on the outside, but on the inside we are all waiting for four years to pass quickly so we can redeem ourselves.  I do know that the popularity of our game is going downhill fairly quickly in Aus.

Rugby is the kiwis main sport i believe and being a pom in nz, i know the definition of whinging, i.e England soccer team, the beckinghams, diana, english cricket. Its devastating for such a small, hearty as h**l nation to go thru. Just as it would be if the aussies lost a rules game to the Greeks. But that would be more funny than anything else. Cmon fella show a bit of heart. the kiwis will be upset for another 4 years not 1 week.

Firstly, the Kiwis are the national league team so get your facts right.Secondly trusting media to form an opinion gives an indication of intelligence levels. I am not originally from NZ but have chosen to make it my home and have found that the majority, if not all N.Zealanders have been very gracious in defeat. Well done!!

I don't think they have overreacted any more than anybody else would of if they had been the clear world cup favourites.  I live here and havent seen anything OTT. Yes they whinge alot, but you would too.
