Why won't yahoogroups recognize a valid email address?

I am trying to add someone to a yahoogroups list. Yahoogroups telling me the eamil address is not valid, even though I know it's a valid address because I have corresponded with the person. Can anyone help?

Yahoo restricts certain email addresses like info, webmaster, and admin.  The address you are trying to add is probably something that is not allowed.  Does the person have an alternate email address that you can use instead?

if Yahoo says it's not valid, it means they do not recognoze it nor will allow it. certain addresses are not allowed per yahoo filter bots
