Why wont Cindy McCAin open her tax returns to the american people when she is running for first lady of USA?

She isn't running for office.

Tax returns can't possibly show anything good for anyone, in my opinion.  Someone will think you cheat on your taxes, someone else will think that you make too much money, someone else will think something else negative.  There's just nothing good that can come of it.  I wouldn't open mine either.  In fact, *especially* not mine :)

Technically she isn't running.

But she does have everything to gain.  I am quite sure they/she plans to parlay her fortune into a ...what comes after fortune?  Kingdom?  Queendom?  Billiondom?
