Why wont Firefox detect that i installed Adobe Flash player?

for some reason firefox wont detect that i downloaded Adobe flash player..it keeps telling me its missing the plug in..what am i doing wrong?

Make sure you're using the latest Firefox stable version (3.0.1).

I was having that same problem when using a prior version of Firefox.

firefox sucks and adobe is way to smart for that c**p..adobe is essential to windows and can run circles around most antiviruses and c**p..its not spyware or malware if downloaded from the source..go to adobe .com and figure it out..
