  1. Maybe they won't make a profit from their 99 cent meals or earn enough to pay their staff. Why are you so cheap?

  2. Because they have the $5 all you can eat lunch buffets till 3pm.

  3. Because they dont get the volume of customers such as a Mc Donalds or Wendy's. Most of them are private owned and they need all the profit they can get.

  4. Most places that offer a .99 menu mass produce their food and ship it frozen to the individual locations.  Chineese food uses unprocessed meats, custom spices, and vegitables that aren't grown locally.

When you sell a bluemillion orders of fries a day, you can afford to sell them at .99 cents and still profit due to the simplicity of the cooking methods, the small number of ingriedients, and the cheaper quality involved.

To be honest, I would run like the devil were after me if I ever saw a .99 chineese menu. Most chineese places are locally owned and operated, and I cringe to think how they could afford to sell a .99 dish.

  5. Cooking chinese food is more expensive than ordinary continental food cooking.

  6. What is with this $.99 menu stuff? Come on, what type of quality food can you expect for $.99?! I don't trust that kind of food.

  7. Ahaha. I wish. But I think the only thing that would be on them would be pints of white rice and fortune cookies.
