Why wont he listen to me?

ive told him over and over that im not happy and his video games are a serious problem and that im lonely and blah blah blah... he never listens!!! he just goes right back to playing that stupid game and leaving me alone all night until i fall asleep alone. why wont he listen? what should i do?

Put the games away.  If you get rid of them, he will spend the money to buy more.  See if you can talk to him long enough to get him into counseling.  

I had a husband that refused to listen to me on very large issues.  He pretended to listen and everything I said was going in one ear and out the other.  Nothing stuck.  I eventually divorced him and have found a husband who actually wants to be a husband to me.

He needs to figure out that you are more important than a video game.  He needs to learn that being with you is more rewarding than a video game.  He needs to do it himself.  It shouldn't have to be up to you to show him, but, you might have too.  I'm not exactly sure how, but, in those moments when he does give you attention give him some positive reinforcement.

If that doesn't work the only other thing I can think of is to show him what he's going to miss.  In other words negative reinforcement.  You can't support the relationship on your own forever.

teach him a lesson, eventually he'll get horny, and he'll want s*x, when he comes at you for it, go to sleep, or go to the video game and play it, if he asks say why don't you go to your mistress the video game and have s*x w/it.maybe then he'll get the picture!

He's avoiding you. Why? Who knows. You could ask, but unless he's willing to talk about it you'll never know. Ask if he still wants to be married. Be sure you want to know the answer before you ask it.
