Why wont java and/ or adobe download onto my computer?

it shows that it's downloading, but when i try to use it, it doesnt work!

What do i do?

There could be several reasons why.

First check and see if there already installed on your computer by doing a search (under start then search, do one at a time, java then adobe)

1. Was there an active x control that you had to allow.

A yellow band comes at the top to allow the sender. You have to click on it to allow sender.

2. Are they blocked by your computer under Internet options.

3. Is the down load bad. If so remove and re-download.

It would help if new the operating system, windows and or xp

Does your internet connection use a proxy server ? if so , you may have to change your proxy server setting to allow the downloader to install .
