Why wont my Metal Gear online work ?

I was playing mgo 1 day n turned off my ps3 then the next day when i clicked on mgo from the mgs4 title screen it starts 2 load then stops n does nothing leaving the mgo sign on the bottom corner. i even took it back 2 get a new 1 n it still does the same thing

Didnt you hear? Since MGO is not supported by PSN, Konami had to shut it down because they couldnt handle it or something like that

My disc do that sometimes. It could be that your disc is dirty or your ps3 lens is dirty =/ or something else wrong with either of those item.
