Im using a Netgear WG311v3. It is on a computer running windows xp. The network that i want to connect to it is running windows vista. The problem isnt that i cant connect, its that i cant connect to the internet once connected to the network. Most of the times, when i open the Network and Sharing Center in the Control Panel, it calls the network an "Unidentified Network" in the picture thing. Down where it says Unidentified Network and it says Connection, beside it it says Unidentified Network (Netgear), so it knows that it is conencting to netgear. It gives me limited access when i am connected to the network and it wont let me connect to the internet. Please help me.

  1. you would be far better to buy a router and connect ALL the machines through it.
