i think when it was in the petstore it ate crickets, but so did my other leo who is 3 yrs old but she adapted to mealworms quicly. is it sick, should i feed it crickets? is it not hungry. i returned to the same petstore to get food for my big leo, and the geckos at the store are already bigger than mine. Ive had it for 2 weeks and its only eaten 2 worms that i fed to it by opening its mouth and putting part of the worm. HELP

  1. When geckos don't eat, there is either something wrong in their environments or they have parasites.  Check your temperatures.  Try very small crickets.  Make sure he isn't on any kind of sand or other loose substrate as intestinal impactions are very serious and very common.  Check out the health section here for more info:

  2. I feed mine mealworms and cricketsn.not at the same time.try seasoning the mealworms and the crickets he might be low on calcium if his skin is dull he might need it or he's shedding.

  3. try feeding it crickets and mealworms and crickets

  4. Something isn't right in the environment.  Check the heat situation and also remove sand if you have any inside the tank.  I had a similar problem and I took out all sand...replaced with paper towels and started feeding it crickets instead of mealworms.  He's doing fine now.  I will actually stab the cricket with a fork if the gecko can't catch it. As long as it's still moving he will eat it.  Oh, be sure to coat the crickets in vitamins before feeding.
