I have a 92 Honda Accord that usually starts and runs fine. But sometimes it wont start. It seems to be when the car has been sitting out in hot/humid weather. When it cools back down at night it will start right up again. What could be the problem and how do I fix it myself?

  1. ur cars wat tank is leaking. or maybe it takes too much water because when it runs out of water, it heats up. u may wanna check ur water tank in d front near the engine. and fill t with water.doesnt matter if its hot water or cold water

  2. starter cilinoid...after starting the car it warms up and gets stuck. after it cools down it bounces back and makes it possible to start again. I was just go and change the whole starter. If it happens when your out somewhere, just get under the car and tap on it then try to start it, it works sometimes but dont expect it to work forever.

  3. Sounds like a starter or battery problem

  4. If it's really humid, then some water might get stuck in the exhaust... This happens to my dad's car. Clean out the exhaust after it's humid again and try to start up the car.

  5. Could be a loose connection at the battery, or in the ignition circuit.   Think about it heat expands things and loosens things up.  Cold, things tighten things up.   Also sometimes when a battery is really hot it gets funky.  But check the connections and clean off the terminals.

  6. check electrical. check gas. check vacuums hoses

  7. is it cranking and not starting or is it doing nothing

  8. It could be that the starter is going bad, I would have it checked out by a mechanic
