hii, my computer is on windows xp, all the devices what i have purchased have been compatible for windows xp, when i try to install anything from my web-cam to my ipod it comes up saying its not compatible for windows xp so therefore it cant carry on the installation as it could bring harm to the computer. on my computer i'm the administrator so i don't understand why its doing these, as i follow all the instructions given to install my devices. its getting really annoying as i cant upload and songs onto my ipod and i have to do it on my uncles computer (whose computer is exactly the same as mine) can you please tell me why this is happening to it or can you please tell me how to fix it thanks x*x =]

and i do have enough memory left

but when i click ignore it just comes up saying it couldnt install properly

  1. Don't worry (as long as it the manufacturers disk), what it is saying is that the drivers aren't digitally signed by microsoft. Allow the install to continue, there won't be a problem.

    HTH

  2. apple has made its iPods and those sorts of things so that you have to pay as much as possible. so they made iPods only get songs off 1 computer. if it works for your uncle's computer, then that is the only one compatible. that's one more reason why not to buy from apple!

  3. I think the problem is not compatibility, it's the digital signature. Just choose continue anyway and it should work fine. If not, Try restoring your computer to an earlier point using system restore. You might have installed a program that caused this problem.

    Hope that helps
