Why wont my hair stay straight?

Question

Well... for some reason, my bangs curl up right when I get to school. I always straighten them (plug in flat iron) right before I head off to school which I walk to. Its about a fifteen minute walk by the way.

Oh but I live in a pretty humid climate. Could that be the reason why?

And are there ways to keep it straight? I cant get it permanently straightened at a salon.

well i live in a humid climate also, and i just pin my bangs up to the side, mine curl inward, and it looks stupid. i straighten my hair alot, but it never seems to stay as straight as i would like it too... but anyways, just do whatever you feel works for you!! good luck!
