Why wont my laptop work with my wireless connection?

I recently took my laptop on a trip, and connected to two different wireless connections, but when I got home it will not connect to my wireless, what is wrong, and how can I fix it?

  1. Possibly because of the connections that you were connected to on the trip are now "prioritized" ahead of your wireless connection.

    Go into your internet connections and make sure you have your connection as the default and/or your connection as the first connection to connect to. (priority 1)


  2. I recommend calling the manufacturer of your wireless device.  If you have no success, give us the details of what went on in the call.

    Keep in mind there is another technology called powerline.  It is much simpler to setup than wireless, and I promise you that you will not have these problems.  You can watch the video just to get the gist of it.  You can find a kit much cheaper than $200.  This particular kit is $200.  Here is the video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=NoBYr3EzkPw
