Why wont my parakeet move?

Question

the bird is just laying at the bottom of the cage on its belly and wont move

the bird is opening and closing her eyes and her head just keeps going up and down

he may be scared.  Are there any loud noices in your house? It also may be tired.  Do you cover it when its sleeping?

it might be tired or if might b dying bcuz thats the sign one of my bird gave me before he go, so u should really take it to a vet just in case

maybe its sick or maybe dying

it's dying or laying eggs  get it to a vet pronto, if its rocking its laying eggs but if it isn't it's dying, the bird is dying just watch it, and if u don't want it to live dont bother taking it to the vet, i just don't want u to go through the sad moment of the bird putting out it's wings putting its head down and stops breathing

This bird is either very sick or she is laying eggs. She could also be egg bound. I would advise you to get her to a Vet asap. Other than sometimes going to the bottom of cage to eat, or lay eggs birds generally only do this when they are very sick and ready to die.
