Why wont my parakeets do anything while I'm in my room (where their cage is)?

ive had them for a week now 1 is very tame i think i have a male and a female.Everytime they see me they just freeze anyway to get them to stop this?

they just have to get used to you, they are still new to you being with them. spend as much time in the same room as them and they will eventually go about their business weather your there or not.

they need time to get used to u.spend time with them,try feeding them from ur hand.that may help u guys bond
