They probably have very good reasons. You should sit down with your parents and have a calm rational conversation about it. Maybe try and see things from their point of view. This is a definate question for your parents, because Yahoo Answers doesn't know your parents motives. So you should go ask them and try to see things their way, unless they are way wrong. You should have some good strong points to bring up with evidence backing it. Don't just scream and be hateful because that will get you no where. Listen to their views and opinions and then express your own. And make sure they understand where you are coming from. Also make sure that you see where they are coming from.
