  1. Ring your network provider who will send you the settings by text message (or you can get them online).

    What network are you on?

I ask this because when I moved to o2 I could not send picture messages for the first 3 months, then suddenly things started to work. The same happened to my husband. I suspect that o2 put a block on picture messaging for the first few months but I cannot be certain of this.

  2. would need the make of your phone to help more. i know with mine i had to send a picture message to my own number to activate it, but on my last network i had to actually call them to activate it. it varies, depends on your phone and what network you are on.

  3. what phone have you got

  4. This is probably because although your phone can support picture messaging, its not set-up to do so, because it needs codes and such from the operator.

If this is the case, just give the operator a call, either from your phone or from a land line, whatever, give them your phone number, make and model of your phone, and hey presto, they *should* send you a "text message" that will set-up your phone automatically.
