Why wont my pictures upload?

Question

okay i have a casio exlim (youtube) capture mode.and i've had it for..not even a week...im trying to upload my pictures, but when i put in the memory card or do the cord, the pictures wont even show up on my computer, it makes the noise that something is being plugged in..but nothing happens after that?

if you have any info PLEASE help me

Plug the USB cable into the computer with the camera in the OFF position>>after computer show's it down by clock turn the camera on  or,on to review>>follow onscreen instructions
