Why wont my school release me?!?

I am 14, I want to go to another school.

I've been at my school for all my life, and it is HORRIBLE.

We have barely any sports, no foreign languages, and rude teachers.

(not to mention the students are horribly mean and cruel)

-true story: A kid who broke his leg, was walking down the hallway, and the other kids started kicking his leg. Then, the other children didn't do a thing about it!-

Anyway, back to the subject.

I REALLY want to change schools, along with a friend of mine, however, the school will not release us. It wont. They said: "You need to try the new program and 3 course schedule."

Which, for 1 is going to mess us up.

And besides that, i DONT want to go to the school. My PARENTS DONT want me going there either...and we've got everything, but the *darn, NOT THE WORD I WANTED TO USE* school wont let me go.

They dont even have a good reason.

That, or they wont tell me.

I WANT TO GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL.

I have permission from parents, so why wont they let me?! I AM SERIOUS. I WANT TO LEAVE.

I've found another school, I've set things up with them.

Now the school is feeding me lies. I am so angry right now.

if your parents said u can and the other school will let  u in just go tell the school that u r going and i dont think they can do ne thing about it

I'm not sure if this is the case but sometimes you have to go to a certain school depending on where you live. There are boundaries and if you are within those boundaries you have to go to that school. I know this sounds wrong but I knew someone who put a friend's address or alternative family member's address as their own so that they would be out of the boundary lines so they could go to another school, but be for-warned if you get caught you get in trouble! The school can not force you to stay if you parents agree for you to transfer. It is not jail (even though it may seem like it!) they can't make you stay. Good luck to you!
