Why wont my sims2 downloads work?

i enabled custom content and i extraxted them to folders, what do i do to get them to work?

Does it work with your computer? As in, Vista, XP, What ever you have? (Check The Back Of The Box) Do you have enough Virtual Memory to hold the game? It should give you an amount of RAM and Virtual Memory on The Back of The box too. Just a thought. Or, are you sure it isn't an expantion pack for the game, rather than the actual game? Unless you already have the Sims 2 Itself installed. Hope I came close to helping!

Make sure your downloads go into the "Downloads" folder, and make sure you have WinRAR http://www.sharewareconnection.com/downl... and then right-click and click on "Extract Here", or if you want to see your download files, click "Extract Files" and a folder will pop up. Drag them into your downloads folder, though. No need for your WinRAR or WinZip folder anymore, so you can delete that. Read the article below if you have anymore questions (it's quick and easy). The article may say something different, but completely listen to me!
