Question:

Why wont my snake hide?

i have a ball python with 2 hideboxes.is there something wrong with that?or does it just mean that it is used to its environment?also it never curls up into a ball.thank you

  1. If it feels comfortable where it is it will not hide or curl up. Try dropping the temperature (or other forms of torture)  and you will see completely new behavior)

    You know I was kidding right? You just have one happy snake.


  2. It means it is used to the cage and likes you. Typically balls only curl up when you first get them because they are scared, once they get used to you they don't do it anymore. Also, some snakes are less skiddish then others, some spend all their time in boxes others hardly ever go in. Your snake is normal don't worry
