  1. If the starter is stuck then push the truck  or rock it backwards and forwards while its in first gear to free it and then try start it again.. Of course you wont be able to do this if it is a monster truck...

  2. If it cranked over & won't start check ignition system for loose wires/cables - is the high tension cable supplying any power to the plugs, or are the contact breaker ok?, no gas?, or fuel system choked.

If it doesn't crank at all, or there's a clicking sound then your starter is jammed, or battery is weak.

  3. check for any loose conection.check your cables make sure your all tight.charge and try again

  4. Make sure the connections are good on the starter and the solenoid. If you suspect a bad starter drive, have someone bump the key and tap on the starter with a hammer, you might get a few more starts out of it.

  5. If the engine "turns over" but just doesn't fire, there's nothing wrong with the starter.  If you turn the key and NOTHING happens, check for dirty, corroded or loose electrical connections first.  Make sure the battery is fully charged and battery cables are clean and tight.  If it still doesn't turn over, then have the starter tested.
