Why wont my video play all the way through?

i am using windows movie maker and im importing a video but when i import it it only plays like the first 20 seconds of the video. what is wrong with it and what can i do to fix it

Hard to answer without the make & model of your camcorder. Have you tried the software that came with the camera?? Have you visited the manufacturers support site for your camcorder?? Have you looked at the manual??
