Why wont the patriots sign ty law?

The patriots need more depth at corner why wont they sign ty law a premire defensive back?

he won't do anything that would be sad for the patriots to think he can still do something cause he can't.

Unlike linebacker, cornerback is a position where speed is of the essence. Younger corners usually have more speed. Ty Law has been around for a while and wants too much money. If Law was willing to convert to safety, it would be a different story. That won't happen because the Pats just signed John Lynch and still have Rodney Harrison, two VERY seasoned veterans.
