Why wont the recycle paper collector not take my old yellow pages away?

ive put it in the kirbit these last 3 weeks but they always take the rest of the paper but leave my old yellow page, has this happened to you

  1. The yellow colour and the amount of print contaminates the better quality waste paper so reducing the value of the whole load.


  2. Recycling paper is a waste of time and effort, it costs more carbon wise to clean and re-use paper than it does to use raw soft wood pulp, a good environmentaly managed product. Yellow pages are made from recycled pulp, so are useless for re-cycling, as they are also dyed, which would use more chemicals to prepare for what is worthless fibres.

    the only good use for re-cycled pulp is the middles of cardboard cartons.
