Why wont the volume work???

Question

for my computer, there is no volume coming out of my speakers... but, only for some things there is. For Itunes, Windows media player, and some websites the volume works. But for most all of the sites, the volume doesent work?... its turned up on the speakers and on the computers volume.. and it just doesent work. can any1 help?

more than likely its your sound cards drivers. so what you do is find out what kinda sound card you have and go to the companys website and download the up to date drivers.
