Why wont the yahoo music video play, play?

Question

i've dissabled everything and added yahoo music videos to my allow list, but the yahoo video player still wont play the videos, it launches the player but the videos wont start. anyone know why?all other video sites play the videos fine, but the yahoo wont play. thanks for any help.

This is only speculation but Yahoo loves to use codecs that are supplied by other vendors.  Try installing Windows Media Player 11.  Do "not" uninstall WMP 9; WMP 11 goes on top of it.  Microsoft Download location:

Also go to add or remove programs and remove Flash.

Get the latest Version at this location:

If that doesn't work, then submit the problem to Yahoo Customer Care.

Same thing happens to me too. Everything shows up the browse music, the play, pause, stop buttons etc, but the videos wont show up or play =/
