Why would God Create Adam without Eve?

Was his first plan just for Adam to rule over the animals? Why wouldn't he know that Adam would be lonely? It seems God changed his mind a lot while creating the current conditions on earth.

  1. He wouldn't and He didn't

  2. The full myth says God created Adam and his first wife Lilith together. Lilith was a bit of a rebel and wouldn't submit to Adam as her husband so God kicked her out of the garden and cursed her (He's very good at cursing things). Some legends make Lilith the mother of all the vampires feeding on the blood of Adam and Eve's children. God had to created Eve to keep Adam from bothering the sheep.

  3. Well, the original plan was for Adam to rule over the animals and God rule over Adam ... ie, Adam would be required to satisfy God whenever he needs it.

  4. if you read the first chapter of the bible you will find that adam was not alone. Genesis 1:27 So god created man in his own image; in the image of god he created him: male and female he created them.  now here is the interesting part. if you look this up you will find that in hebrew mythology the fist woman was actually a lady named Lilith. she left the garden after she refused to do what adam told her to. look it up some time. there is many stories that come from her.

  5. It was because:

#1 - God was g*y, and expected Adam to love Him.

#2 - God was a Beastialist, and expected Adam to mate with animals, and Him, since He was also an animal.

  6. The god you refer doesn't exists. It never did. It never created a thing - including Adam or Eve,

  7. men are better than women

  8. And your point is?

  9. So man can realize he's nothing without the woman! He had to kill the BIG EGO first -then after he humbled himself gave him knowledge(HA-HA)

  10. God created Adam first, and let Adam go around to find a suitable helper, probably to show Adam that there was not a suitable helper among the animals, not because God did not know already.  This way, when Even was created, Adam would know that Eve was created as a gift especially for him.

God changes His mind only when the conditions change

for example, God may give a blessing to someone, but take it back when they develop a sinful lifestyle.

God my choose to bring destruction on a sinful nation, but change His mind when they turn back to God.

There is always a reason for God to change His mind.

  11. If he is omniscient I think he knew that Adam wasn't to be alone.  He was instructing someone or others when he said "it is not good for man to be alone."

Either God is talking to someone else at this conjuncture or he's talking to himself.  The bible also mentions that he made man in "our" image.  Once again we see the plural aspect of God's conversation.

Here's my explanation.  Both man and woman were patterened after God's image.  The "image"  of both male and female existed before this earth was formed.  The creation wasn't complete until Eve was created.  This is the plan, and this is how mankind entered into this world.  God didn't change his mind, but outlined a pattern as given in the book of Genesis.  An outline where time was beginning to be marked by an immortal being.  I guess he could have said that all creations came about at the same time, but he didn't.  The account breaks down the periods to provide additional insight.  I also see it as a supreme example of who and what were God's ultimate creations.

  12. he's very indecisive.

he changes his mind a lot throughout the whole bible.

    so much for being omniscient.

  13. God doesn't have the power to create two human beings at the same time.
