Why would God unleash Satan upon this earth?

Question

Haven't we already have enough evil. Why do we need this planet to be more eviler.

Why would God do such a thing?

I thought Satan resides in h**l, how can Satan be at h**l one minute, and then on Earth the next minute.

Have you ever thought you were just as special as Jesus Christ?

The Devil was chased out of Heaven by GOD through the work of his number 1 Angel ST. MICHAEL The arch Angel. He defeated Satan and sent him to the depths of h**l. The devil has free will to roam around just like any other Good Angel. The difference though he hangs around people in Despair with no FAITH. He tempts us everyday to do bad. It is our free will to do good or bad. GOD gave us that choice. The weaker we are the more the Devil thrives on that. Up until the moment you die the devil tries to get your soul. He comes in many shapes and forms. You never know where he is lurking. When you are thinking bad thoughts,he is right there trying to make you chose evil. That is why you put your Faith in God and you will be protected. FAITH,FAITH,FAITH is the answer.

Jesus was perfect because He resisted the devil. He followed His Father's will completely. scripture does not say that satan was cast out of the garden when adam and eve were cast out so where is the devil now? still in the garden. another name for the garden is paradise which is where we are supposed to be. so when satan is cast down to the earth then we will be able to be there.if we overcome because of Christ then we will be made perfect.

Satan is all around us, not in h**l. Maybe "h**l on Earth"

can you heal lepers? can you make a blind man see? etc, etc? no you can't. You are special. Just not as special as His Only Son.

Satan is already here and he has been all along.  This is his playground and all the wealth and power here, are his toys to share with all those who want to play.  But he does not play fair and he is the only winner in all of his games.  Satan can be anywhere in this dimension and can also be anything or anyone he desires.

We are all God's children but what makes Jesus more special, is the fact that He sacrificed His life for all of ours.

Satan isn't in h**l.. he is ruler of the earth. Satan insisted that people would only obey God, if God gave them what they wanted. It's up to you to prove Satan wrong. Having faith in God, and being obedient just because you love him, not because of what he can give to you.

Satan doesn't reside in h**l (yet).  He is called the "god" of this age (II Corinthians 4:4) who deceives the people.

As to why God unleashed Satan on the earth, no one knows, but we aren't to question God's wisdom on such matters.  (Cf. Romans 9:20)   Why He did it is irrelevant.  That He did is.

EDIT:  Jesus and I cannot be compared, especially as it relates to "specialness."  Jesus never sinned.  I have and do daily.  He is wholly righteous, I am unrighteous.

1. In olden times a 'satan' was an obstacle that stood in your way.  Somehow it developed into the whole 'lucifer' thing.

It might be that the Void conceived of a God and a Demon to balance in the dualistic reality of the physical plane.

Because Satan questioned God's love by stating "How can a loving God cast his creatures to h**l and still be Loving?"

after he was defeated. He cast Satan to Earth like lightning.

The Lord created physicality as a more confined dimension with the nature of time being linear so that Man who was created with lesser awareness, could make decisions and change them again and again until they die. Life on Earth is just a test.



It was a test to see if Man would choose to believe God or Satan. As above so below, the same scenario that occurred in heaven was now to be replicated on Earth. The difference this time was that God would make a way to spare those that sin against him from his judgment. He proved that a loving God could punish and still be loving by sending his Son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of humanity. Hence the world was divided into two sides, those who believed The Lord and those who believed not in him.

God didn't unleash Satan, we did. When Eve chose to disobey God and eat the forbidden fruit, she unleashed Satan, and we are paying for her mistakes.

Satan resides everywhere people allow him to reside. If you don't want Satan to reside within you, you don't have to put up with him. Just believe in Jesus Christ and God, and open your eyes to God's love and ask him to enter your heart.

And no, I've never thought I was just as special as Jesus. I haven't performed miracles on the scale or in the same manner that he did - walking on water, turning water to wine, healing the sick, etc. To believe that you are as special as Jesus is to put yourself above everyone else (even God), and God calls us to be humble.
