Why would Hiallary Clinton lie about being named after Edmund Hillary?

All she did was lose me vote. What a stupid thing to do. What's the point of such a trivial lie?

I don't think it has any bearing on the kind of presidency she would have.  It sounds like one of those "I invented the Internet" statements.  Gore was just saying how much he liked and enjoyed the Internet.  I'm sure he didn't think anybody was stupid enough to actually think he was saying he invented the Internet.  Can you think that Hillary might associate with being named after a mountain climber?  I heard her mother saw an article about him and liked the spelling of Hillary and so chose it for her first name.  She could have just been joking.  What difference does it make?

I believe Hillary is a pathelogical liar. She lies even when there is no good reason to lie.

Granted, we all lie. But normally there's a purpose, to spare another's feelings, or to make an excuse for some thing wrong we've done for example...

Hillary just lies, out of the blue, for no good reason. It's unexplainable unless she's just sick in the head.

There is no proof she lied about it.

Hillary was well known before he climbed Everest. She claims her mother read an article about him and simply liked the name.

Since there is no proof she did lie, and you agree it is trivial - why not base who you vote for on something of substance?

We all know that Sen. Clinton has lied (i.e. Bosnia, Chelsea's whereabouts on 9-11, and the list goes on ...).

The truth is that Pinocchio - I mean Sen. Clinton is a known liar and will exaggerate when it is to her advantage.  Bill lied to us too ("I did not have *** with that woman; ... these allegations are false.)  

Do we really want the Clintons in the White house again?
