Why would I choose to be born into this life, and suffer so much?

Question

Why would I choose to go through all the pain and suffering and endless endurance in this life? What is there to be gained from it? Other than Yahoo Answers, is there another site where I can get answers to these questions?

Well, here's the easy answer; you can't choose to be born into any life. You're just... born. What happens after that isn't really up to you either. You have years and years of infancy, babyhood, childhood, etc. before you're even self-aware and able to ponder such things as life vs. death and what your interpretation of "pain and suffering" is.

The question though is why wouldn't you choose to "endure" this life? Because I guarantee you, it's not nearly as bad as you think and you'll realize this once you're older.

you sound like my Boyfriend before he fell in love with me.  you should play maplestory.  nexon.net has it.  and i think at least for me it's worth the pain and suffering because i am able to make myself happy and wonderful a majority of the time. plus, what is anything without a lil challenge. the hard is put there so that you have to work to have happiness.  also, you didnt choose to be born into this life, that was out of ur control. i suggest making the best of it. find friends, a loved 1 maybe and just have as much fun as you can and try not to worry about the hardships. =)
