  1. Welly's useless. When he's on his game (maybe 1 in 5), his soft hands can pop in a few, but mostly he's on the moon. Way out of shape most of the time too.

  2. Am from toronto and a leaf fan obviously but both the team and the organization are a bunch of idiots Who don't know who to keep or let go i still cant believe we aren't fighting to keep matt sandin

  3. There were apparently some concerns over his lack of work ethic last season. I think that factored into the Leafs management's decision to let him go, as well as being injury prone. Also, some players just had to be removed for the sake of change. Whether or not he can recover from that in Vancouver remains to be seen.

  4. My impression of Wellwood was this: He wanted to win as long as he didn't have to strain himself to do it. I don't think I'd have used the term 'underrated talent', more like 'underused talent'. He can do it, just doesn't seem to want to. That seems to be his attitude towards fitness too. "Yeah, I'll get in shape but not right now".

  5. Didn't want to break a sweat and is injury prone. Or at least he says his injured.
