Especially since, I think McCain has a thing for former beauty queens.

His former beauty queen ex wife was crippled in a car accident and no longer attractive(his words), he married his wealthy mistress Cindy who is also a former beauty queen.

Guess who else is a former Beauty queen??? Palin.

Why did McCain "really pick her for VP?

Palin was runner up for Miss Alaska, where there are 648,000 men and 4 women.  And three of them didn't enter the competition.  But I think Cindy is safe for now - Palin has no money.

I this is all getting pretty wierd- She was a mayor of a town with less then 2,000 houses. Very strange if you ask me. Plus she is anti birth control anti condom even if married anti abortion even in case of incest rape - so I think that a religious nuttjob is asking women to put her in office.

Palin is a former beauty queen but lets put that in perspective. She came in second place in a state where they advertise around the world to get women to move there.

  His penchant for beauty queens was only his first attraction to Sarah Palin.  Once he got past the physical beauty he also realized what a dynamic person and politician she is.

It's easy to recognize the asset she will be for John McCain as vice president.  It's even easier to visualize the number of women, from both sides of the aisle and color, who will see Palin as the hero they have been looking for and will vote for as well !
